Malaney Ride
Hey, some of my mailologist friends and I headed out for a block run today 20/1/13, the route being Samford to Mt Mee, a couple of runs up and down the hot mix for a bit of madness, then on to Woodford, then on to Malaney for a breakfast .From there we left for a run around Somerset Dam and up to Mt Glorious for a cold drink, it was very hot out at the back of the dam, from there we said our goodbyes and went our own way, a very enjoyable morning. Below are a few pics of the bikes on the ride.

The Stator
Hey, my new stator arrived from the states for my not so trusty Yamaha ttr250, I have had the original one rewound once all ready,It lasted 2years and crapped it self again, time for a new one. The new one cost me 60 dollars more then a rewind, plus peace of mind. If you are after genuine parts for jap bikes try www.partshark.com, I found them great to deal with.
My First Post: Brake Lines
This is my first post, welcome to Cogs and Things. This blog is about things i like and do including motorcycles, cars, photography, architecture, bicycles, nature, Moto GP, car racing, surfing, skateboards, machinery, aeroplanes and anything else with wheels. Today's blog is about fitting Hel Performance brake lines to my friends Yamaha F-Z1. It was a pretty straight forward job as the brake lines were quality made, here in Brisbane, Australia my home town. I think the colour she picked RED suite the bikes colours and add a little bit more performance in the breaking department. I shot these pictures on a Samsung Galaxy S2 8MP, but in future I intend on using my Canon G9 12MP. I will post things when they happen so drop in every now and then to see what's up. Hope you stay tuned.
P.S. Hopefully the quality of this blog will improve as I learn more.
