CHAIN SAWS

Hey all, I have always loved chain saws ,don't know why just do, about 14 years ago I bought one a Husky 36. It has been a good saw although I don't use it much here in QLD, my wife and I had a caravan on a permanent site on the hawks berry river in Sydney were we used it all the time cutting fire wood or clearing sections for motorcycle trials which we were heavily involved in at the time , a good time in our lives when I think about it.Any way about 2 years ago I lent the saw to a friend who ended up bringing it back saying he could not start it , there is a bit of a nak to starting it which I thought he did not have, so there it sat for 2years.The other the day I decided to get it going so I gave it a clean a new plug and fresh fuel , to easy, well 500 pulls later I could not get it going so I removed the plug and squirted some fuel in to the barrel , it fired up and then stopped. I did this 5 times thinking why is it not sucking up fuel from the tank below, finally I pulled it apart looking for the fuel line which I could not find, looking closer I realised the fuel line had completely perished and had blown away in the wind, I could not believe it , no wonder it did not start for my friend. new line on it started 1st pull, LOL.
