VW GTI

Hey all, a good friend of mine has just taken delivery of a VW Polo GTI , just like its big brother the Golf GTI its a pure GTI , I like the way VW debadges the Golf and Polo with the only badge they wear being GTI , nice touch VW. The specs on this Polo are cool starting with its 1.4 L double charger motor , thats super and turbo ( just like the Lanica rally cars of the 80s,one of my favourite marks) punching out and impressive 132kw and 250nm from 2000rpm to 4500rpm ,mated up to a 7 speed double clutch auto,not my cup of tea , I am a stick shift guy,call me old fashion .Driving it I was impressed , it has sports mode or manual using your paddles, this is the future I think in gearboxes ,other nice GTI touches being the red band around the honey comb grill, the flat bottom steering wheel with red stitching and the tartan seats, one hot hatch.
